Terms of Use

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to DoublePik. These Terms of Use (‘Terms’) form a legally binding agreement between you and Ruba Odeh (trading as DoublePik) (‘DoublePik’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’), an individual based in the United Arab Emirates, governing your use of the DoublePik mobile application (iOS and Android), web application, and all related services (collectively, the ‘Service’).

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms you must not use DoublePik.

These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy (available at doublepik.com/privacy), which explains how we handle your personal data. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the primary legal documents governing your use of DoublePik. In-app rules and scoring details (available under How to Play) supplement these Terms but do not form part of this legal agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. DoublePik is Not Gambling

✅  DoublePik is a skill-based sports prediction game. It is not gambling.

Predicting football match scores requires knowledge, judgement, and skill. Your performance on DoublePik depends on your football knowledge and analytical ability — not on chance or luck alone.

DoublePik does not offer:

• •Cash prizes or monetary rewards of any kind
• •The ability to convert tokens, points, or rankings into real money
• •Wagering of real money on match outcomes
• •Any form of financial return on your predictions or purchases

Tokens purchased within the app are virtual currency used solely to access cosmetic features and Premium functionality. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any real-world asset under any circumstances.

3. Eligibility and Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old to create a DoublePik account. Users in certain countries are subject to a higher minimum age for digital services — please refer to our Privacy Policy Section 7 for the full country-by-country breakdown. If a higher minimum age applies in your country, you must meet that requirement.

By creating an account you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement applicable in your country.

Users under 16 must obtain parental or guardian consent before making any in-app purchases. We recommend that parents and guardians of users under 16 review these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If we discover that a user does not meet the minimum age requirement, we will suspend and delete the account immediately, including all associated data, predictions, tokens, and purchased items. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

4. Account Registration

To use DoublePik you must create an account. When registering you agree to:

• •Provide accurate, current, and complete information including a valid email address that belongs to you
• •Choose a username that is not offensive, misleading, or impersonating another person
• •Keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone
• •Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account
• •Register only one account — multiple accounts for the same person are not permitted
• •Not allow any other person to use your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs on your account. DoublePik is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your account credentials secure.

You may create an account using your email address and password, Google account, or Apple ID.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DoublePik only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict others from using and enjoying the Service. You must not:

5.1 Technical Misuse

• •Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or other automated means to access or interact with the Service
• •Scrape, mine, or harvest data from the Service without our written consent
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
• •Introduce any virus, malware, or other malicious code to the Service
• •Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• •Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained within it

5.2 Prediction and Competition Integrity

• •Manipulate, collude, or coordinate predictions with other users to gain an unfair advantage
• •Create multiple accounts to gain an unfair competitive advantage on leaderboards or pools
• •Attempt to exploit bugs or errors in the scoring system — any such bugs must be reported to us immediately
• •Submit false or misleading information to gain points or rankings

5.3 Social and Community Conduct

• •Post, send, or share any content that is abusive, offensive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, or hateful
• •Post content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or inappropriate for a general audience
• •Impersonate any person or organisation or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• •Spam other users with unwanted messages, pool invitations, or promotional content
• •Post any content that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights
• •Share personal information about other users without their consent

5.4 Commercial Misuse

• •Use the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
• •Sell, transfer, or trade your account, tokens, or any in-app items to another person
• •Use DoublePik to advertise or promote third-party products or services

6. Prediction and Scoring Rules

DoublePik’s scoring system is designed to reward accurate, skill-based predictions. The following rules govern how predictions and scores work.

6.1 Prediction Deadlines

Predictions must be submitted before the official kick-off time of each match. Predictions lock automatically at kick-off. We are not responsible for any technical issues that prevent you from submitting a prediction before the deadline. We recommend submitting predictions well in advance of kick-off.

6.2 Scoring System

Points are awarded based on the accuracy of your predicted score compared to the official final result:

HIT stacking rules — HIT adds 2 pts on top of your primary outcome:

Stage multipliers apply to base points depending on the tournament stage. The stage multiplier is applied to your base points first, then the DoublePik selection doubles the result. Full scoring details and DoublePik allocation per stage are available within the app under How to Play.

6.3 Official Results

Points are calculated using official final results including any extra time played as part of the match. Penalty shootouts do not affect the score used for prediction purposes — the score at the end of normal time and extra time is the result used. We use data from official football data providers and are not responsible for errors in data supplied by third parties.

6.4 Postponed, Cancelled, or Abandoned Matches

If a match is postponed before kick-off, your prediction will unlock and become editable again until the new kick-off time. The original prediction is not deleted — you may keep it or update it. If a match is cancelled or abandoned before completion and no official result is recorded, no points will be awarded for that match and all predictions for that match will be voided. DoublePik selections used on voided matches will be returned to your allowance.

6.5 Scoring Disputes

If you believe your score has been calculated incorrectly, you must contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of the result being published. We will review the calculation and respond within 14 days. Our decision on scoring disputes is final. We are not liable for any loss arising from a scoring error where that error was caused by incorrect data from a third-party data provider.

6.6 Tournament Picks

Tournament Picks (predicting Winner, Runner-up, and Third Place) must be submitted before the tournament’s first match. Tournament Picks lock permanently at the start of the tournament and cannot be changed. Points are awarded only for exact placement — a team predicted as Winner will not earn Runner-up points if they finish in second place.

7. Pools — Creation, Management, and Rules

7.1 Creating and Joining Pools

You may create and join pools subject to the limits applicable to your account type (Free or Premium). Pool limits are displayed within the app and may change over time. Pools are tied to specific tournaments — a pool created for one tournament does not carry over to another.

7.2 Pool Admin Responsibilities

If you create a pool, you become the pool admin. As pool admin you are responsible for:

• •Managing join requests and membership of your pool
• •Ensuring that members of your pool are aware of and comply with these Terms
• •Reporting any inappropriate content posted in your pool's chat to DoublePik — pool admins are not personally liable for content posted by other members but are responsible for flagging violations

DoublePik is not responsible for the actions of pool admins or pool members. We reserve the right to remove any pool that violates these Terms without notice.

7.3 Pool Chat

Pool chat is a feature that allows pool members to communicate within their pool. Pool chat messages are moderated by the DoublePik moderation team. Users can report inappropriate messages directly within the app. By using pool chat you agree that:

• •All messages must comply with the content rules in Section 5.3 and Section 13
• •We may review, remove, or act on any pool chat message that violates these Terms
• •Pool chat messages are retained for 12 months after the pool's tournament closes and then permanently deleted
• •You will not use pool chat for commercial purposes, spam, or to share personal information about others

7.4 Pool Leaderboards and Competitive Integrity

Pool leaderboards are generated automatically based on prediction scores. DoublePik does not manually adjust pool standings except to correct verified scoring errors. If you suspect another pool member of cheating or violating these Terms, please report it to us at [email protected].

8. The Lounge and Showdown

The Lounge is a live match feature that lets you see DoublePik activity during live matches and engage in 1v1 Showdown interactions with other users in your pools.

8.1 Showdown

The Showdown feature allows two users to view each other’s live prediction performance during a match and interact using emoji reactions. By participating in a Showdown you agree that:

• •Your predicted score and DoublePik status for the match are visible to your Showdown opponent, and theirs are visible to you
• •Emoji reactions are sent in real time and are visible only to the two users involved in the Showdown
• •Your Showdown session view closes automatically 15 minutes after the match ends
• •You will use the Showdown feature respectfully and in accordance with the conduct rules in Section 5.3

8.2 Live Match Data

Live match scores displayed in the Lounge are sourced from third-party data providers and may be subject to a short delay. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in live data. Provisional points shown during live matches are estimates and may differ from the final points awarded after official results are confirmed.

9. Virtual Currency — Tokens

Tokens are virtual currency used within DoublePik. They have no monetary value.

Tokens cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another user, or redeemed for any real-world value under any circumstances.

9.1 Earning and Purchasing Tokens

Tokens can be obtained by:

• •Purchasing token bundles through the in-app Shop via Apple or Google (not available in the current version — tokens are earned through daily login rewards only in this release)
• •Daily login rewards (free — streak system applies)

9.2 Using Tokens

Tokens are used to purchase cosmetic items (profile icons, borders, backgrounds, stickers) and Premium access within the app. Once spent, tokens are deducted from your balance immediately and cannot be recovered unless the purchase fails due to a technical error on our part.

9.3 Token Balance on Account Deletion

If you delete your account, your remaining token balance is forfeited permanently. No refund will be given for unused tokens remaining at the time of account deletion. This applies regardless of whether the tokens were purchased or earned for free.

9.4 Token Expiry

Tokens do not have an expiry date while your account is active. However, DoublePik reserves the right to expire tokens that have been inactive for an extended period (more than 24 months) with reasonable prior notice to the affected users.

10. In-App Purchases and Refunds

10.1 How Purchases Work

All in-app purchases — including token bundles and Premium access — are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Real-money in-app purchases are not available in the current version of DoublePik. This section describes our practices for when IAP is introduced in a future version. By making a purchase you agree to their respective terms of service in addition to these Terms. DoublePik does not collect, store, or process your payment card details.

10.2 Pricing

Prices for in-app purchases are displayed within the app in your local currency and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed. Premium is priced per tournament — buying Premium for one tournament does not apply to another tournament.

10.3 Refund Policy

All purchases made through DoublePik are generally final and non-refundable. This is because:

• •Token bundles — tokens are virtual currency with no monetary value. Once purchased and added to your wallet they are considered consumed.
• •Cosmetic items — digital items are delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be returned.
• •Premium — access begins immediately upon purchase.

Refund requests must be made directly to Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their refund policies. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases made through these platforms. If you believe you have been charged in error due to a technical fault on our part, contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate.

10.4 Chargebacks

If you initiate an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider in relation to a DoublePik purchase, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account pending investigation. An unjustified chargeback is one where you have received the purchased item or access and the payment was authorised by you.

11. Premium

DoublePik Premium is a paid upgrade available on a per-tournament basis. Premium provides access to additional features including prediction statistics and other benefits as described within the app at the time of purchase.

11.1 What Premium Includes

The features included in Premium are described in the app at the time of purchase. We may add, modify, or remove Premium features at any time. If we remove a feature that was material to your purchase and you have not yet used the majority of the tournament, you may contact us to request a refund of the unused portion.

11.2 No Competitive Advantage Guarantee

Premium provides access to additional information and cosmetic features. It does not guarantee a better leaderboard position or any competitive advantage. Points are awarded solely on the accuracy of predictions regardless of whether a user is Premium or not.

11.3 Premium Availability

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify Premium at any time. If we discontinue Premium entirely we will provide reasonable notice and issue a pro-rata refund for any active Premium period remaining.

12. User Content and Licence

When you submit content to DoublePik — including your username, status chant, pool name, pool chat messages, or any other content — you grant DoublePik a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, store, adapt, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

This licence does not give DoublePik ownership of your content. You retain ownership of any content you create. However, you acknowledge that:

• •Prediction data — your submitted predictions, scores, and outcomes — form part of DoublePik's competitive record and may be displayed to other users, retained in anonymised form after account deletion, and used to calculate leaderboards and pool standings
• •Pool chat messages are visible to all members of your pool and are subject to moderation
• •Your username, favourite team, and profile cosmetics are visible to all users of DoublePik

You warrant that any content you submit does not infringe any third party’s rights and complies with Section 13 of these Terms.

13. Content Rules and Moderation

All content you submit to DoublePik — including usernames, status chants, pool names, and chat messages — must comply with the following rules. Content must not:

• •Be abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or hateful toward any individual or group
• •Be sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience
• •Contain personal information about another person without their consent
• •Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• •Constitute spam or unsolicited commercial communications
• •Be false, misleading, or deceptive
• •Promote or facilitate illegal activity
• •Impersonate any person, brand, or organisation

13.1 Automated Moderation

DoublePik moderates content through a user-reporting system and a moderation team who review flagged content. If your content is removed and you believe this was in error, contact us at [email protected].

13.2 Reporting Content

If you encounter content on DoublePik that violates these Terms, please report it to us at [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will review them as quickly as possible.

13.3 Our Rights Regarding Content

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or restrict any content at any time without notice if we determine it violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or its users.

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the DoublePik app, website, software, design, graphics, scoring system, brand name, logo, and all other materials forming part of the Service are owned by or licensed to DoublePik. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use DoublePik’s intellectual property except as necessary to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• •Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent
• •Use the DoublePik name, logo, or any other brand elements for any purpose without our written consent
• •Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the app

DoublePik and the DoublePik logo are the property of Ruba Odeh (trading as DoublePik). All rights reserved.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

15.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account within the app. Account deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no grace period or cancellation window. Once confirmed, your personal identifiers are deleted immediately and your competitive records are anonymised as described in our Privacy Policy. Unused tokens are forfeited on deletion.

15.2 Suspension or Termination by DoublePik

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• •You breach any provision of these Terms
• •We reasonably suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on your account
• •You are found to have manipulated predictions or the competitive system
• •You are abusive toward other users or DoublePik staff
• •Required to do so by applicable law or a regulatory authority

For minor first violations we will typically issue a warning before taking further action. For serious violations — including cheating, abuse, or fraud — we may terminate your account immediately without warning. On termination your access to the Service ends immediately. Purchased tokens, token bundles, cosmetic items, and Premium access are all forfeited without refund in cases of termination for breach of these Terms.

15.3 Effect of Termination

On termination of your account your predictions and competitive records will be anonymised and attributed to ‘Deleted User’ to preserve the integrity of tournaments and pools. All other personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. Liability Limitations

16.1 No Warranties

DoublePik is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability of the Service. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

16.2 Service Availability

We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or emergency reasons. We will use reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and to provide notice where possible. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by temporary suspension of the Service, including during live matches.

16.3 Prediction and Data Accuracy

We are not liable for any loss arising from incorrect match data, incorrect scores, incorrect results, or any other data inaccuracy sourced from third-party providers. We are not liable for any loss arising from a prediction deadline being incorrectly displayed or a prediction failing to save due to a connectivity issue on your device.

16.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DoublePik’s total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to DoublePik in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DoublePik, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party rights; or any content you submit to the Service.

18. Mobile Platform Terms

The DoublePik app is available on iOS via the Apple App Store and on Android via Google Play. The following additional terms apply:

18.1 Apple App Store

If you download DoublePik from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and DoublePik only, not with Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for DoublePik; (c) Apple is not responsible for any product warranties — if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price if any; (d) Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app; (e) Apple shall be a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

18.2 Google Play

If you download DoublePik from Google Play, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and DoublePik only, not with Google; (b) Google is not responsible for DoublePik or its content; (c) Google Play’s Terms of Service also apply to your use of the app.

18.3 In-App Purchases via Platforms

All payments for in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google respectively. DoublePik does not process payments directly. Apple’s and Google’s payment terms apply to all transactions. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies.

19. Third Party Services

DoublePik uses third-party services to operate including football data providers, cloud infrastructure, push notification services, and content moderation tools. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of these third-party services. Links or references to third-party websites or services in the app do not constitute endorsement by DoublePik.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, new features, or changes in applicable law. When we make material changes we will notify you by:

• •Sending a push notification to your device
• •Displaying an in-app notice on your next login
• •Updating the Effective Date at the top of this document

Continued use of DoublePik after notification of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of DoublePik shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence, which these Terms do not override.

22. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with DoublePik, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected]. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve your dispute informally within 30 days.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the UAE in accordance with the rules of a recognised UAE arbitration body, unless you are a consumer in a jurisdiction where mandatory law requires access to local courts. For EU users: the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

23. General Provisions

23.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and DoublePik regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

23.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. All other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

23.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms at any time does not constitute a waiver of that right. We may choose to enforce any provision at a later date.

23.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms to any other person without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party — for example in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — without your consent, provided that the assignee agrees to be bound by these Terms.

23.5 Language

These Terms are available in English only. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version prevails.
